Architect of Xperience

XR Immersive Designer

Lara E. Negreiros

I design immersive experiences at the intersection of space, technology, and human perception.

Creator of customized immersive experiences, I explore how spaces influence emotions and behaviors. I transform this relationship into digital projects that unite design, storytelling and technology, connecting the physical and virtual worlds in meaningful ways.

My journey began in architecture and urbanism, with specialization in architectural projects and neuroarchitecture, areas that provided me with a solid foundation in spatial perception and functional environmental design. Over time, I felt the need to expand beyond the traditional boundaries of architecture, exploring technology as a new territory for creation.

In this process, I deepened my studies in programming and discovered immersive technologies (XR), which became the natural link between my architecture background and the infinite digital possibilities. From there, I began to direct my work towards the development of interactive virtual environments.

Today, I dedicate myself to creating immersive experiences using software and technologies that transform physical spaces into interactive digital environments.

AUTHORIAL EXPERIENCES IN VIRTUAL REALITY

My work explores the intersection between virtual reality, immersive storytelling and architecture, creating authorial experiences that connect people to stories, places and spaces.

I develop VR projects ranging from architectural visualization to sensory narratives, using immersive technologies to provoke emotion, reflection and presence.

Within this practice, I especially investigate how immersive experiences can activate memory, identity and spatial perception, an axis that gives rise to the REMEMBER project.

Part of the experiences presented here emerges from ongoing research on memory, identity and spatial perception in immersive environments. This research guides the development of the REMEMBER project, of which Memories Live is the first experiment.
